Maria Radutu | All About Eve

Sophie Heinrich, violin, and Maria Radutu, piano, have one thing in common besides their mastery of their instruments and their passion for music: they are storytellers.

Their first Eve’s Courage programme is about women composers such as the Boulanger sisters, who were united by a touching and intimate relationship beyond death, the seething, unshakeable power of the African-American Florence Price, the sensual sonata of the Croatian-Hungarian composer Dora Pejacevic, or the rhythmic force of Piazzolla’s “Le Grand Tango”, in a legendary arrangement by the famous composer Sofia Guibadulina.

All women have one thing in common: liveliness, creative diversity, quality and courage. So today we are picking “Eva’s ripe apples” from a tree that women have courageously planted in the past against all odds to express themselves and nourish your soul.
